Queen - Live at LIVE AID 1985/07/13 [Best Version]

Queen - Live at LIVE AID 1985/07/13 [Best Version]

This is the absolute ULTIMATE experience of Queen's set at LIVE AID, this is the best video mixed to the absolutely superior stereo radio broadcast. This vastly superior audio mix takes a huge dump on all of the official mixes. Best viewed in 1080p. ENJOY! ***MAKE SURE TO READ THE DESCRIPTION*** 00:36 - Bohemian Rhapsody 02:42 - Radio Ga Ga 06:53 - Ay Oh! 07:34 - Hammer To Fall 12:08 - Crazy Little Thing Called Love 16:03 - We Will Rock You 17:18 - We Are The Champions 21:12 - Is This The World We Created...? Short song analysis: - "Bohemian Rhapsody": Although it's a short medley version, it's one of the best performances of the ballad section, with Freddie nailing the Bb4s with the correct studio phrasing (for the first time ever!). - "Radio Ga Ga": Although it's missing one chorus, this is one of - if not the best - the best versions ever, Freddie nails all the Bb4s and sounds very clean! Spike Edney's Roland Jupiter 8 also really shines through on this mix, compared to the DVD releases! - "Audience Improv": A great improv, Freddie sounds strong and confident. You gotta love when he sustains that A4 for 4 seconds! - "Hammer To Fall": Despite missing a verse and a chorus, it's a strong version (possibly the best ever). Freddie sings the song amazingly, and even ad-libs a C#5 and a C5! Also notice how heavy Brian's guitar sounds compared to the thin DVD mixes - it roars! - "Crazy Little Thing Called Love": A great version, the crowd loves the song, the jam is great as well! Only downside to this is the slight feedback issues. - "We Will Rock You": Although cut down to the 1st verse and chorus, Freddie sounds strong. He nails the A4, and the solo from Dr. May is brilliant! - "We Are the Champions": Perhaps the high-light of the performance - Freddie is very daring on this version, he sustains the pre-chorus Bb4s, nails the 1st C5, belts great A4s, but most importantly: He nails the chorus Bb4s, in all 3 choruses! This is the only time he has ever done so! It has to be said though, the last one sounds a bit rough, but that's a side effect of belting high notes for the past 18 minutes, with nodules AND laryngitis! - "Is This The World We Created... ?": Freddie and Brian perform a beautiful version of this, and it is one of the best versions ever. It's both sad and hilarious that a couple of BBC engineers are talking over the song, one of them being completely oblivious of the fact that he is interrupting the performance, on live television... Which was being televised to almost 2 billion homes. A Day in the Life of a Bulimic (Bulimia AWARENESS // PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION)

PLEASE take note: this is NOT MY life right now, but I wanted to show how bad it's been in the past. I've had bulimia for almost 18 years, and there were times it was like this, or worse, but not anymore. I still struggle...but not nearly this bad. (And y'all know I'm working on it.) ;) This is NOT MEANT to show HOW to have an eating disorder, or to give tips on how to be bulimic. This is to bring awareness of how bad it can get and to try and warn people what can happen if you venture down this road and accidentally fall into the trap of ED...and how sad and lonely you could end up. It's NOT WORTH IT. :( The seriousness of Eating Disorders, and the numbers of sufferers, continue to grow. PLEASE take that first step and ASK for help if you are struggling. If you're a child/teenager struggling, please tell your parents, caregiver or counselor for help before this disease puts you at risk, for death, everyday...like it did for me. If I can inspire even one of you to try and get help, I've done my job :) SUBSCRIBE, Like, share, comment....all the things so we can bring MORE awareness to this HORRIBLE DISEASE. Thank you for your support with this! This was very hard to post :)

The Real Reason Why Steve Jobs Died

The Real Reason Why Steve Jobs Died

Steve Jobs did not die from being a vegan, he died from his pancreatic cancer. His vegan diet prolonged his life for 30 years! Steve Jobs was a long term vegan. Steve Jobs was the genius that founded apple computers. Steve Jobs died at the age of 54 due to pancreatic cancer which he had from the age of 24. Steve Jobs exposed himself to a vast array of chemicals and toxic metals when he was a teenage. Steve jobs worked with computers when he was in his teens. Steve Job's exposure to toxic chemicals and substances led to the proliferation of cancer in his body. Like The Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Tangy-JBird/513266542076925?ref=hl This is a no BS/ no gimmick approach to health and fitness. Are you ready to make the changes necessary in your life to attain the goals you desire? Look at your own health in an objective way, don't worry about what others may say, follow your heart and be honest with yourself. Rememebr that high carb low fat vegan diet is where it is at. Eating 80% of your total calories for the day are coming from carbs, 10% or less from fats, and 10% or less from protein. This vegan diet is the optimal diet for humans and is proven to work. You don't have to have a lot of money to eat an 80/10/10 diet. Eating healthy aka eating a high carb raw vegan diet will get you healthy in no time and having the weight just melt off of you! It is easy to eat healthy when you don't have a lot of money. Eating 80/10/10 diet was super easy when I was wwoofing in hawaii as well. I would buy 15 papayas for $4 and 80 bananas for $10. There are ways to eat healthy, you just have to do some planning and think about the best way to go about it. Basically eat until you are full whilst also making sure you get enough cals. So in other words being objective about how many cals you are getting is critical to realizing how much you need to eat, generally how much more you need to eat. This means that you may be full eating a veggie sandwich that you get from a vegan cafe. That's because the veggies are coated in fat (oil) and the sammy was drenched in more fat. So if we look at the profile of a human stomach and we see 200 cals worth of oil, it only takes up a small portion of the stomach, whereas 200 cal from, say, mango, will take up far more room because it is a complete food full of fibre, water, etc. The oil is devoid of these things and is a pure, refined fat which is extremely hard for the body to use, so it just throws it in your ass, gut, thighs, etc. I just say unlimited so that people get out of this calorie phobic, carbohydrate phobic mindset that is perpetuated though the mainstream media. For a typical human they need no less than 3000 cals a day, I always say if you are an olympic athlete you need to eat more, if you are a mom with 3 kids, you need to eat more. If you have a stressful job and commute, you need to eat more; life is a sport and if you want to live a passionate life, drug free, energy filled, and disease free, then you need to eat more, more fruits, vegetables, and leafy greens. If you want something, you will always find a way. If you don't want something, you will always find an excuse. Any and all excuses stem from a lack of desire and any and all great accomplishments stem from a great desire. Well said, Ted. If you want it, go get it! Sleep Water Sugar The three elements to healthy living Just some quick tips and tricks on the high carb low fat vegan diet. When I started out on the high carb vegan diet I was pretty lost without any guidance. So here I am to show you that it is not only possible but definitely certain that you will get slim and your optimal size on a high carb vegan diet. Bring on the carbs and lay off the fat because a high carb low fat diet is where it's at! 1) Lose the animal fat and protein and get off the cow nipple 2) Eat as many ripe, juicy, organic fruit as you possibly can, I do! 3) Make sure you are getting enough calories, about 10g of carbs per kilo of body weight 4) Get some blood work so you can see (after eating right for a while) if you are lacking any nutrient 5) Supplement only on a case by case basis and never longterm

Freddie Mercury Interview Musical Prostitute part 1

Freddie Mercury Interview Musical Prostitute part 1

Perhaps the most famous interview of Fred. Filmed in Munich as the band were about to release the works album in 1984. Freddie was interviwed by Rudi Dolezal at Musicland Studios By the way the stupid comments about "Arnold Schwarzenegger" are old and dated and NOT funny, I'm guessing that to those who say that they seem to cant differentiate between German accents. Rudi is a great guy who contributed towards making some of the best Queen/Freddie videos and documentaries amongst some of the greatest artists in the world. I dont own this video, I have never received any form of monetary income. Under fair use policy this is kosher. This interview belongs to Queen Productions/Studios

Freddie Mercury | Change from childhood to death 1991

Freddie Mercury | Change from childhood to death 1991

Combining theatrics and an outrageously flamboyant stage persona with his fine natural-born talent (he possessed one of the greatest voices in all of music and penned some of pop's most enduring and instantly recognizable compositions), one of rock's greatest all-time entertainers/showmen was unquestionably Queen vocalist Freddie Mercury. Born Farrokh Bulsara on September 5, 1946, in Zanzibar to Persian parents (his father worked as a high court cashier for the British government), young Farrokh was nicknamed Freddie by fellow classmates while attending an English boarding school, and adopted the moniker. Freddie soon discovered his love for art and music, both subjects that he explored voraciously (he began taking piano lessons around this time), putting his newly found piano talent to use as he played in rock & roll bands with friends. Due to political upheaval in Zanzibar, Freddie and his family fled Zanzibar for England in 1964. Back in England, Freddie enrolled in the Ealing College of Art and fell under the spell of guitar wizard Jimi Hendrix. It was while attending Ealing that Freddie befriended a fellow aspiring musician, bassist Tim Staffell, who was a member of a local band called Smile. Freddie soon began attending Smile's rehearsals and struck up a friendship with the group's other members, guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor. Inspired by the heavy rock of Led Zeppelin/Hendrix as well as the vocal harmonies of the Beatles and the over the top look of the burgeoning glam rock movement (David Bowie and T. Rex), the new group decided to mix up all these influences in one big melting pot, resulting in the formation of Queen. Sensing that it was only natural that a soon-to-be rock star should have an equally grand name, Bulsara soon became Freddie Mercury. The new band honed their sound throughout the early '70s (ultimately signing with EMI in England and Elektra in the U.S.), and after going through a succession of bassists, finally found a permanent member, John Deacon, just prior to the recording of their first album. But just before the release of Queen's self-titled debut in 1973, Freddie issued the solo single "I Can Hear Music"/"Going Back" (with his Queen bandmates backing him) under the pseudonym Larry Lurex. Queen II Slowly but surely, Queen built up an enormous and dedicated worldwide following due to their bombastic stage show and such hit releases as 1974's Queen II and Sheer Heart Attack, but it was the Mercury-penned "Bohemian Rhapsody" off 1975's breakthrough A Night at the Opera that solidified Queen as one of rock's top bands. Further hit albums followed: 1976's A Day at the Races, 1977's News of the World, 1978's Jazz, and 1979's Live Killers, during which Freddie penned such hit songs (and eventual rock radio staples) as "Killer Queen," "Somebody to Love," "We Are the Champions," "Don't Stop Me Now," and "Crazy Little Thing Called Love." By the late '70s, Freddie had become one of rock's leading frontmen as his image changed from his early glam rock look to an image that was met with some consternation from fans: he cut his hair short, grew a mustache, and dressed in all leather. In addition to his work with Queen, Mercury fulfilled a longtime dream by performing with the Royal Ballet in October of 1979. Shortly thereafter, Queen regained their footing in the U.S. when Hollywood Records reissued their entire catalog and "Bohemian Rhapsody" (and two compilations: Classic Queen and Greatest Hits) rocketed up the charts due to the song's inclusion in the movie Wayne's World. Up until his death, Mercury continued to write music with Queen, and surviving bandmembers completed several unfinished tracks for the 1995 posthumous release Made in Heaven. The '90s also saw the arrival of a few Mercury solo compilations: in 1992 the U.K. received The Freddie Mercury Album while the U.S. got The Great Pretender (both included mostly similar track listings) and a year later the six-track Remixes was issued in Europe only. Solo [3 CD] In 2000, a mammoth ten-CD/two-DVD box set was unveiled, titled The Solo Collection, collecting all of his solo tracks and promotional videos as well as rarities. Also released at the same time was the three-CD box set Freddie Mercury Solo and the DVD Video Collection, which included highlights from the bigger set. The more economical single-disc collection Very Best of Freddie Mercury Solo: Lover of Life, Singer of Songs appeared in 2006. In 2016, the double-disc collection Messenger of the Gods: The Singles brought together all of Mercury's solo A- and B-side singles.

Freddie Mercury's Final Days (1991) || Who Gave Him AIDS

Please Donate me on Paypal if you want to support me: https://paypal.me/zintherz Did you Know? Freddie Mercury had a Gujarati Indian Origin. His Father and Mother were Indians. Freddie admitted to having a string of gay one night stands, and that time due to unprotected sex and lack of awareness, gay couples contracted HIV quite frequently, to the extent that it was considered an epidemic. He was not the only one, though probably his death affected the most. His friend Kenny Everett, the DJ who first played Bohemian Rhapsody and prophesied that it will be number one for centuries, also lost the battle against Aids. Source: QueenAllTheWay - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC7rCCo_oDcEH1f0ahPpQdDA #RESPECT #FREDDIEMERCURY AutoBiography of Freddie Mercury: Farrokh Bulsara (5 September 1946 – 24 November 1991), known professionally as Freddie Mercury, was a British singer, songwriter and record producer, best known as the lead vocalist of the rock band Queen. He was known for his flamboyant stage persona and four-octave vocal range.[3][4][5] Mercury wrote numerous hits for Queen, including "Bohemian Rhapsody", "Killer Queen", "Somebody to Love", "Don't Stop Me Now", "Crazy Little Thing Called Love", and "We Are the Champions". He led a solo career while performing with Queen, and occasionally served as a producer and guest musician for other artists. Mercury was born of Parsi descent on Zanzibar, and grew up there and in India before moving with his family to Middlesex, England, in his teens. He formed Queen in 1970 with guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor. Mercury died in 1991 at age 45 due to complications from AIDS, having confirmed the day before his death that he had contracted the disease. In 1992, Mercury was posthumously awarded the Brit Award for Outstanding Contribution to British Music, and a tribute concert was held at Wembley Stadium, London. As a member of Queen, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001, the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2003, and the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2004. In 2002, he was placed number 58 in the BBC's 2002 poll of the 100 Greatest Britons. He is consistently voted one of the greatest singers in the history of popular music. Early Life:Mercury was born Farrokh Bulsara (Gujarati: ફારોખ બલસારા, Pharōkh Balsārā‌) in Stone Town in the British protectorate of the Zanzibar (now part of Tanzania) on 5 September 1946.[9][10] His parents, Bomi (1908–2003) and Jer Bulsara (1922–2016),[a][11] were Parsis from the Gujarat region of the then-province of Bombay Presidency in British India.[b][12] As Parsis, Mercury and his family practised the Zoroastrian religion.[13] The Bulsara family had moved to Zanzibar so that his father could continue his job as a cashier at the British Colonial Office. He had a younger sister, Kashmira.[14] Mercury spent most of his childhood in India and began taking piano lessons at the age of seven.[15] In 1954, at the age of eight, Mercury was sent to study at St. Peter's School, a British-style boarding school for boys, in Panchgani near Bombay (now Mumbai).[16] At the age of 12, he formed a school band, The Hectics, and covered rock and roll artists such as Cliff Richard and Little Richard.[17][18] It has been said that one of his formative musical influences at the time was Bollywood singer Lata Mangeshkar,[19] but one of Mercury's former bandmates from the Hectics has said that "that is a lot of rubbish. The only music he listened to, and played, was Western pop music."[20] A friend from the time recalls that he had "an uncanny ability to listen to the radio and replay what he heard on piano".[21] It was also at St. Peter's where he began to call himself "Freddie", and in February 1963 he moved back to Zanzibar where he joined his parents at their flat.[22] Source: Wikipedia for more of freddie's life-https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freddie_Mercury Thanks for Watching! 18 CANDID PHOTOS OF FREDDIE MERCURY WITH HIS BOYFRIEND JIM HUTTON IN THE LATE 1980S

18 CANDID PHOTOS OF FREDDIE MERCURY WITH HIS BOYFRIEND JIM HUTTON IN THE LATE 1980S

18 Candid Photographs of Freddie Mercury With His Boyfriend Jim Hutton in the Late 1980s: Freddie Mercury met Jim Hutton at a club in 1984 when he offered to buy Jim a drink, and he politely turned him down. Jim didn’t recognize Freddie but a few months later while at a restaurant his friend told him: “Hey, Freddie Mercury is behind you.” Jim this time accepted Mercury’s drink and the two talked for a while, but nothing happened for another year. About eighteen months later, the two happened to meet again at the same club. Freddie once again bought Jim a drink and this time they got together. Jim ended up moving in the Garden Lodge with Freddie about two years later. When Freddie was diagnosed with AIDS in 1987, he offered Jim an exit on their relationship. He told Jim he would understand if he left. In a Freddie Mercury documentary, Jim recalls telling him, “I love you, Freddie - I’m not going anywhere.” And he didn’t; Jim stayed with Freddie until he died. He nursed him, cared for him, and was there when he took his last breath. Upon his death, Freddie left Jim £500,000 as well as a plot of land at Rutland Terrace, Carlow where he built a house. Jim Hutton died in 2010 from a form of lung cancer. He had then been living with HIV for over 20 years. Labels: 1980s, famous people, life, love, portraits
