Peter Schiff: How to Profit on Next Recession

At MoneyShow San Francisco, Peter Schiff: The problems I saw leading up to the financial crisis of 2008-9 are dwarfed by the problems that I see now under Bernake and Yellen. The bubble that they created is far bigger. This thing is probably going to blow up on Donald Trump. I wish he hadn't claimed ownership when he put his brand on this stock market bubble, on this phony economy. They're going to have the rename the Great Recession because this one is going to be worse. We are going to have a dollar crisis this time. The average American is going to suffer much more this time. That's why I'm here at the MoneyShow to tell people how to profit on the events that are about to unfold. https://www.moneyshow.com

Stop Wasting Energy On These 3 Undeniable Energy Wasters

Energy and attention are a finite resource. They run out easily. Energy and attention are directly funded by the amount of sleep and rest an individual gets, both of which are notoriously thin in today’s world. This is why most people will never be successful; most people’s lives are set up to drain energy and attention. --- This was initially published as an article on Medium.com by Anthony Moore: https://fityourself.club/stop-wasting-energy-on-these-3-undeniable-energy-wasters-adad783d0ebc Author: Anthony Moore | http://stuffgradslike.com --- Further information: Why Most People Will Never Be Successful: https://medium.com/thrive-global/why-most-people-will-never-be-successful-5e48d9cbaa0e Deep Work by Cal Newport: https://www.amazon.com/Deep-Work-Focused-Success-Distracted/dp/1455586692 Notes on Deep Work: https://sivers.org/book/DeepWork --- FB: https://www.facebook.com/ArtOfImprovement Twitter: https://twitter.com/TheArtOfImprove Insta: https://www.instagram.com/art.of.improvement

Jamie Dimon On The 2008 Crisis

Jamie Dimon On The 2008 Crisis

In a conversation with CNBC's Andrew Ross Sorkin, JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon details the events leading up to the 2008 financial crisis. Ten years later, he says he doesn’t trust doing business with Washington because “the next government can do whatever they want.” Watch the premiere of the CNBC Original “Crisis On Wall Street: The Week That Shook The World” Wednesday, Sept.12 at 10pm ET/PT. Ten years after the fall of Lehman Brothers, CNBC has produced the definitive televised account of the historic bankruptcy and cascade of events over a September weekend in 2008 that led to the worst financial crisis in generations. In this prime time original documentary, Andrew Ross Sorkin, CNBC anchor and author of the groundbreaking best-seller "Too Big to Fail," reports on how the nation and the world came as close as ever to a full economic collapse. The story is told through gripping interviews with those at the highest reaches of the U.S. government as well as the CEOs of the nation’s largest banks who gathered to try to save Lehman Brothers from failure. Wall Street chiefs Jamie Dimon, John Thain, and others describe dramatic, around-the-clock negotiations. Former U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Hank Paulson tells of the desperate moment when he realized that a Lehman bankruptcy could bring down the world’s financial system. Could a financial crisis of this magnitude happen again? Sorkin puts that question time and again to the people gathered for this CNBC documentary, who shouldered the fate of the world’s finances and who recall the nightmare scenario they faced down ten years ago. "It would be breadlines across the country for a generation,” former president of the N.Y. Federal Reserve Tim Geithner told Sorkin. “We did feel that we were making choices and faced with outcomes that would be devastating to the lives of hundreds of millions of people." » Subscribe to CNBC: http://cnb.cx/SubscribeCNBC About CNBC: From 'Wall Street' to 'Main Street' to award winning original documentaries and Reality TV series, CNBC has you covered.
