Clone/Copy EVERYTHING including Windows from old hard drive to a new one step by step (Easy way)

Macrium reflect download: http://www.macrium.com/reflectfree.aspx Take a backup of your personal files and folders before you perform any sort of procedure in this video.. Hard drive cloning is a complicated process and if cloning fails you could loose all your data. Make sure you follow every instruction STEP BY STEP missing any instruction can cause cloning to fail Don't make dumb comments like "why the fuck you need 3 drives" "you don't need a external drive to do this" If you do so I will moderate, also many people don't own a desktop or even if they do many are not power users like us so keep that in mind thanks. Don't like it? go watch thousands of other drive cloning tutorials on YouTube. Disclaimer: I have been cloning drives without any problem for the past few years without any issues with this exact same method, if in case if it fails its likely that you didn't follow step by step instructions or might be a case of bad cables or in very rare case hardware incompatibility. I wont be held responsible for the loss of your data since I have already asked you take a BACKUP of your personal files.

How to Back Up Your Windows 10 PC to an External Hard Drive

How to Back Up Your Windows 10 PC to an External Hard Drive

http://integral-it.co.uk In this tutorial we're going to look at how to backup your Windows 10 PC to an external hard drive There are several different ways you can back up your PC. You can use a cloud backup or you can buy some the spokes software like a Cronus for your pc but also Microsoft includes some built-in backup software within Windows 10 and that's what I'm going to show you how to use today. I currently have a 250GB external and it is just plugged into the front of my computer, so these are the steps to backup Windows 10 Computer. 1. Go to Start 2. Settings 3. Updates 4. Security Within 5. At the top of the screen click Add Drive The PC will now search for any drives that are plugged in that can be used for backup As you can see in this video it's found my external hard drive here so i want to click on that drive and it will bring up a screen with more options: Look at the overview where it shows that it has not been backed up and it gives the option to back up now. I’m going to now look at the settings for automatic backups. The default is to back up your files every hour which may be a little overkill for most PCs. You can even back up every 10 minutes. I would recommend that you back up daily. Again it's up to you in your circumstances. You will then come to a section that you can choose how long to keep your backups. The default is forever. You are going to be limited to how big your external hard drive space is so if you just want a backup of your data in case your house or office burns down then you know you can select one month. If you've got a business and you got compliance and you need to keep data then you need to buy a big hard drive and select forever or even one or two years. The folders that I’m going to back up all my downloads, favorites, my documents, my pictures, my camera, my videos so it is backing up pretty much everything. The one recommendation I will give here is if you are using Microsoft Office One Drive, I wouldn't include that in the back up options. The nature of one drive is it’s cloud-based storage so you don't need to duplicate the back-up. So you click on remove One Drive then at the bottom you can exclude some folders. You might want to exclude a folder for example it might be an application you might not need it backed up for whatever reason. You can go in there and you can browse to any folder that you want excluded from the backup. Once you have your settings you can either wait until the next backup interval which if we set that will be in the next hour or you can manually click backup now and the backup will start. So that is how to backup your Windows 10 PC to an external hard drive and if you got a problem with this time struggling with any information then please contact us will be happy to help. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FREE IT Audit by an IT Security Audit Specialist. How To Restore Your Computer Back To An Earlier Time - Windows 7/8/10

How To Restore Your Computer Back To An Earlier Time - Windows 7/8/10

Restore your computer to an earlier time In this video we go over how to access system restore, how to create a restore point and how to ultimately roll-back to a previously created restore point in the event that troubleshooting is needed. Sometimes a system restore will not resolve all of this issues, but it is definitely a good starting point most of the time. Restore from a system restore point This option takes your PC back to an earlier point in time, called a system restore point. Restore points are generated when you install a new app, driver, or Windows update, and when you create a restore point manually. Restoring won’t affect your personal files, but it will remove apps, drivers, and updates installed after the restore point was made. Use a recovery drive to restore or reset your PC If your PC won’t start, you can use a recovery drive to restore from a system restore point or reset your PC. For info on how to create a recovery drive on a working PC, see Create a recovery drive. If you're using a recovery drive created on Windows 10: Connect the recovery drive and turn on your PC. On the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot, and then select an option. (If you don’t see the Choose your option screen, your PC might not be set up to boot from a drive. Check your PC manufacturer’s website for info on how to change your PC’s boot order.) To restore from a system restore point, select Advanced Options, then select System Restore. This won't affect your personal files, but it will remove recently installed apps, drivers, and updates that might be causing your PC problems. To reinstall Windows 10, select Recover from a drive. This will remove your personal files, apps and drivers you installed, and changes you made to settings. Use installation media to restore or reset your PC If your PC won't start and you haven't created a recovery drive, download installation media and use it to restore from a system restore point or reset your PC. On a working PC, go to the Microsoft software download website. Download the media creation tool and then run it. Select Create installation media for another PC. Choose a language, edition, and architecture (64-bit or 32-bit). Follow the steps to create installation media, and then select Finish. Connect the installation media you created to your nonfunctional PC, and then turn it on. On the initial setup screen, enter your language and other preferences, and then select Next. If you're not seeing the setup screen, your PC might not be set up to boot from a drive. Check your PC manufacturer's website for info on how to change your PC's boot order, and then try again. Select Repair your computer. On the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot. From there, you can: Restore from a system restore point by selecting Advanced options, then System Restore. This will remove recently installed apps, drivers, and updates that might be causing your PC problems. Restoring from a restore point won’t affect your personal files. Select Reset this PC to reinstall Windows 10. This will remove apps and drivers you installed and changes you made to settings, but lets you choose to keep or remove your personal files. Use installation media to reinstall Windows 10 Before you follow these steps, try resetting your PC using installation media. If that doesn't work, you can use the same installation media to reinstall Windows 10 (also called performing a clean installation of Windows). Go back to your previous version of Windows For a limited time after upgrading to Windows 10, you’ll be able to go back to your previous version of Windows Issues addressed in this tutorial: How to restore your computer Restore your computer Restore your computer to an earlier time Restore your computer to factory settings Restore your computer from a system image backup Restore your computer to an earlier time Windows 10 How to restore your computer like new for Windows 10, Windows 8/8.1 and Windows 7 This tutorial will apply for computers, laptops, desktops, and tablets running the Windows 10, Windows 8/8.1, Windows 7 operating systems.Works for all major computer manufactures (Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba, Lenovo, Samsung).
